In southern Germany there is still dinner, the morning meal is apparently only used in Switzerland. How did that happen?

Because in the hectic morning rush, there is usually only enough time between the gills, while the Swiss work very precisely, but are also slow as a result.

I am almost embarrassed to point out that this is explained very well in Wikipedia.

To add some additional knowledge, in Swedish (which contains many terms from Old High German), breakfast is called frukost, spoken of early food. Dinner is called middag there, for whatever reason. To paraphrase Matthew: isso.

You should be embarrassed about your answer. Unfortunately, you do not provide an answer to my question or do you assume there is no bread in Switzerland and they speak Turkish there?

I would be embarrassed not to have read the Wikipedia article answering your question and then to become so abusive.

@Dorfdepp
You are probably a bit sensitive when facts are given. The statement from me is hardly abusive. You did not provide a link or an answer. I know the origin of the word. Why we say breakfast instead of morning meal and why the term is absolutely common in Switzerland cannot be seen in your statement. So it is rather embarrassing to refer to one of the millions of wiki articles and make the smart Max. So please link an answer with hand and foot or the article from Wiki.

If you are too lazy to search yourself, you shouldn't be sloppy. The banana in your coat of arms lets you look deep.

Better? You don't know any more, that's an answer too. But why can't you find that?
