Are Beatles records worth any value?

Records are experiencing a real renaissance. Well, this is not really new news. Vinyl sales have been rising for years and are now even catching up with CD sales. In the meantime, however, the focus is increasingly on older vinyl albums, which are very rare and are therefore becoming more valuable from year to year.

Some buyers may not even be aware of the treasures that are gathering dust in the attic. For this reason, too, the Australian insurance company Noble Oak has compiled a list of the 50 most valuable records in the world together with Ian Shirley, editor of the Record Collector’s Rare Record Price Guide. Only recordings were recorded that, with a few exceptions, were commercially available. There are also some surprises among them.

Of course, the Beatles and the Stones are high on the list. For "That'll Be The Day" and "In Despite All The Danger" by The Quarrymen, the band founded by John Lennon and four school friends in 1956, the market pays 354,000 dollars. It's just bad luck that Paul McCartney won't be releasing the only copies that exist. Perhaps you own a vinyl single from Elvis Presley's debut "That's All Right". You'd get over $ 12,000 for that.
