Why is alcohol so expensive in Ireland

Ireland expensive fun

Another small addition on the subject of "fair trade": Fairtrade is a nice term that should make us believe that we would do something good for the people in the countries of origin if we buy these sometimes overpriced products. I do not believe that. It is similar with organic food. I don't feel like spending a lot of money on something just because it says organic. I haven't put the shoe on for a long time. For me, ecology and organic means that I buy regional products from the local farmer, who is already having a hard enough time. As for sustainable products: I'm not a fan of the green lifestyle. For me, the principle of a natural ability to regenerate stops when the green man drives around in an electric car, because the air is cleaner where he lives. What it looks like in the countries where the raw materials for such a construct are obtained is a different matter.

There are people who run their own business and know how things work.
But it doesn't work for you. You read between the lines here. Just keep on wailing without me. I stay away from such curmudges.

Well, I am not unfamiliar with such a reaction. As soon as someone says something against your opinion and argues objectively, you run out of air. For you, "reading between the lines" means reading what goes against your grain, what you do not want to hear because it goes against your convictions. In simple words: if someone has a different opinion that differs from yours, it "doesn't work for him". A typical attitude of the political elite who are currently saying that in Germany.

I can also confirm that the Irish are much friendlier. Well, they also earn more and are certainly less in bulk.

I always enjoy living in Cork.

Then there are the traditional corner shops like the one here in Monkstown, County Dublin. You can even get a letter and pay later (or not) at some point, like in the old days. So if that is nothing. Cheaper is not possible!

That was about 100 years ago. I would love to, but I'm on Interpol's wanted list. Wanted for exhibitionism and arousing public nuisance.
